After three consecutive months of decline, passenger vehicle sales grew in low single-digits by 1.55% to 284224 units in October as high fuel prices, interest rates and insurance costs deterred buyers. Commercial vehicle makers fared better with improved industrial activity supporting sales. Commercial vehicle sales rose 24.82% to 87147 units last month. Two-wheeler sales grew by a robust 17.23% to 2053497 units. Vehicle sales across categories increased 15.33% to 2494426 units.
